This small Greek island is situated in a very close proximity to bigger Paros Island (30 minutes), from which it is separated by narrow channel. This close proximity to Paros makes Antiparos a popular tourist destination for one day visitors.
If you are planning to visit Antiparos and would like to use public transport there are two main options. You may take a frequent and cheap ferry from Punta - preferable option if you have a car - or take a caique from Parikia (throughout the summer).
In our opinion main attraction on Antiparos are a very good quality gold sandy beaches, quiet official nude beaches, and famous cave of Antiparos.
The cave offers a very pleasant shelter from the scorching sun in the summer. It is very deep and a temperature on the bottom drops by around 10 Celsius degrees.
To visit the cave you do not need any special climbing skills or equipment as there are stairs everywhere. The entry cost approximately 5 Euros per person (August 2009).

If you stay on Paros Island you can hire a motor bike and take it with you to Antiparos - ferry from Punta. You may save some time and it will be easier for you to explore the island.
Very convenient and quick ferry service links Punta with Antiparos. In the summer the ferry departs almost every 20 minutes and the fare is reasonably cheap.
